I'm looking for a detail-oriented virtual assistant with experience in U.S. real estate, particularly tax sales and over-the-counter (OTC) property research. Your job will be to help me review county auction lists and OTC property files across multiple states and identify potential investment opportunities. Responsibilities: Review OTC property lists and county auction/tax sale lists from various counties and states Identify and flag properties that look like good investment candidates based on criteria I will provide (such as location, lot type, value vs. minimum bid, etc.) Organize results into Google Sheets or Excel, clearly labeling property type, assessed value, bid amount, liens, zoning notes (if available), and other key info Use county GIS maps, tax claim bureau records, and real estate platforms (e.g. Zillow, Redfin) to collect additional information Monitor updates to county lists and auction dates (optional long-term task) Requirements: Experience with U.S. real estate data, tax sale research, or property acquisition analysis Strong skills in spreadsheet organization and data entry Comfortable using county GIS tools, tax claim portals, and public records sites Ability to spot red flags and filter out obviously bad properties Good written English communication Preferred Tools: Google Sheets / Excel Zillow / Redfin County GIS & tax websites PDF readers and mapping tools To Apply: Please describe your experience with real estate, especially if you've worked with tax liens, deeds, or county OTC lists.
