Outreach Specialist for Book Launch (Podcasts, Reviewers & Influencers)
I’m looking for a UK-based outreach specialist to help promote my upcoming book, The Stoic Rider, launching on 9 August 2025. The book blends stoic philosophy, mindset, and motorcycling — it’s reflective, grounded, and designed to inspire people navigating life’s challenges. Your role will be to identify aligned podcasts, bloggers, reviewers, and influencers — and reach out to them on my behalf to request reviews, features, or interviews. Tone matters: I want this to feel personal and real, not like a blanket PR campaign. ⸻ What You’ll Do: • Research relevant podcasts, blogs, newsletters, and influencers (UK + beyond) • Draft and send tailored outreach messages (warm, respectful, human — not salesy) • Track who’s responded and manage follow-ups • Coordinate review copies and brief me on opportunities • Optional: recommend other strategic placements if helpful ⸻ You’re Ideal If You: • Are UK-based and a strong, concise writer • Have experience with nonfiction, lifestyle, wellness, or personal growth audiences • Know how to pitch without sounding corporate • Have existing media/reviewer contacts (especially in mindset, travel, philosophy or motorcycling) • Can work independently with light weekly check-ins ⸻ Project Timeline: • Start: Mid–Late May • End: Mid–August, with light follow-up after launch • Estimated commitment: 2–4 hrs/week • Budget: Open to hourly or fixed — please provide your proposal ⸻ To apply, please include: • A short note about your relevant outreach experience • An example of outreach you’ve done (can be anonymised) • Whether you already have media or podcast lists you could use • Your rate and availability Thanks!
