Seeking a skilled SAT Reading & Writing Tutor to support an 11th-grade student working to strengthen her performance in Expression of Ideas and Standard English Conventions on the digital SAT. We’re looking for someone who understands how to teach critical reading, writing clarity, and grammar in a structured yet approachable way — ideally with experience tailoring instruction to high-achieving students seeking targeted score improvements. Responsibilities: • Diagnose reading and writing strengths and areas of growth • Focus on writing structure, clarity, tone, and logic • Reinforce grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure rules specific to SAT • Use real practice materials to build strategy, speed, and accuracy • Provide feedback and periodic updates on progress Requirements: • In-depth knowledge of digital SAT format and question types • Ability to make grammar and rhetoric engaging and relatable • Proven success helping students improve Reading & Writing scores • Strong communication and progress-tracking skills Schedule: • 1–2 sessions per week (60–90 mins each) • Evening or weekend availability To apply, please send a short intro, experience highlights, availability, and any relevant success stories or testimonials.
