Licensed MEP Engineer (Texas) for Commercial Building Design (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC)
We are seeking a licensed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer based in Texas to provide full design services for a new commercial building project. The structure is a 40 ft x 60 ft single-story building intended for commercial use (details to be provided upon engagement). Scope of Work: Full MEP design (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC) compliant with Texas codes and applicable local regulations Stamped drawings and documentation suitable for permitting and construction Coordination with architect and structural engineer as needed Load calculations, equipment sizing, fixture layouts, and distribution plans Potential site visits for verification, coordination, or inspection (must be available as needed within Texas) Requirements: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas Demonstrated experience with commercial building MEP design Ability to stamp and sign engineering drawings for permit submittal Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on small to mid-sized commercial buildings in Texas Knowledge of energy code compliance and green building standards Availability for occasional site visits Project Timeline: Design work is expected to begin within the next few weeks. Site visits will be scheduled based on project milestones and permitting needs.
