Ghost Writer for Autobiography of a Filipina
Seeking a skilled ghostwriter to complete a short, heartfelt memoir. The subject is the adventures of Filipina born US soldier, nurse, and proud mom of two through the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. This memoir is to pass on my life story to my children—not for commercial publication—so the tone should be warm, authentic, and story-driven, rather than stiff or overly polished. We have working notes, journals, and would provide an outline via interview. We want a writer who can: A) Shape and refine the story B) Preserve the subject’s voice, humor, and humanity C) Deliver a final manuscript of roughly 125 pages for an 8 by 5 1/4 inch book. This project is ideal for a writer with experience in: —Memoirs, autobiographies, or character-rich nonfiction —Working from transcripts and pre-existing material —Capturing lived experience with emotional depth, subtlety, and clarity - Prefer female, but male writers are encouraged to apply with previous experience ghost writing for female authors.
