Clinical Lab Partner Scout – Tick-Borne DBS Program (10-day sprint)
We need an experienced clinical-diagnostics market-researcher / BD consultant to identify, interview, and score potential reference laboratories in the United States. We are seeking a partner laboratory to conduct dried-blood-spot (DBS) tests for two-tier Lyme screening and co-infection panels. We’ve pre-qualified eight reference laboratories so far. Your job is to book 15-minute discovery calls, score each lab on 9 go/no-go gates (licensure, DBS experience, Lyme menu, capacity, data feeds, white-label, partnership appetite, etc.), and recommend which should receive an NDA and full RFP. Then, you'll refine our draft RFP document (based on your experience), and send it out. Key Tasks • Identify & contact decision-makers (BD Director, Lab Director, Regulatory Manager). • Send personalised outreach email (email login and template supplied). • Conduct 15-minute calls using a scripted 9-gate checklist. • Populate our Google-sheet interview template. • Deliver a two-page Go/No-Go memo ranking labs. • Review and refine our draft RFP document. Timeline Kick-off → deliverables in 10 calendar days. Deliverables 1. Completed spreadsheet (≥ 95 % fields). 2. Call notes & recordings. 3. 2-page recommendation memo. 4. Revised and refined RFP document. Must-Have Experience • 3 + yrs BD, QA, or market-research in CLIA / CAP clinical labs. • Familiar with NYSDOH CLEP submissions & LDT validations (ideally DBS). • Proven track record interviewing senior lab stakeholders and summarizing fit. • Experience drafting and reviewing RFPs for clinical labs. Nice-to-Have • Direct experience with DBS, VAMS, or other microsampling workflows. • Existing network contacts at reference labs in the Northeast USA.
