Financial Dashboard + Workflow Automation for Business
Overview: We're looking for a freelancer to build a centralized financial management system that gives the owner an at-a-glance view of financial health and streamlines day-to-day workflows. This would apply over 2-3 businesses and possibly more as we grow. Project Scope: We need an integrated dashboard that provides: * Cash on hand across multiple business and personal bank accounts * Bills due with daily, weekly, and monthly views (subscriptions, vendors, loans, payroll, subcontractors) * Accounts receivable tracking including outstanding invoices with due dates and totals * Bill approval workflow (accountant uploads, owner approves or postpones) * Recurring payments and calendar sync to show key due dates and reminders * Jobs sold and forecasted revenue, with tracking of project income potential * Owner's financial dashboard showing AR/AP, cash flow, revenue, and burn rate Preferred Tools and Stack: We are open to any solution with other software, we have listed typical software available for reference. * Accounting Software: QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Zoho Books * Workflow Tools: Melio, ApprovalMax, Zoho, or custom automation with Zapier, Make, or AppScript * Dashboard Tools: LiveFlow, Fathom, Zoho Analytics, Google Sheets, Notion, or Airtable * CRM Integration (optional): HubSpot or Zoho CRM for job tracking Ideal Candidate: * Expert in accounting software integrations (QuickBooks/Xero/Zoho) * Strong experience with Zapier, Make, or API-based automation * Ability to build custom dashboards for financial overviews * Understands multi-entity bookkeeping and cash flow tracking * Can advise on the best tool stack and optimize for daily financial visibility Deliverables: * A working financial health dashboard connected to live data * Bill upload and approval flow * Dashboard synced with a calendar for due dates and alerts * Forecasting tools based on job pipeline Timeline: We’d like a first version delivered within 2–4 weeks with phased improvements after.
