Experienced Bookkeeper for e-Commerce and Alcohol Distribution (Long Term Part-Time)
We are a beverage distribution company in Singapore that sells alcoholic beverages and we provide catering and event planning services for F&B events. You must be a FULL TIME freelancer who does the work yourself and you should not give work to other people to do. We do not want to work with an agency or team. We need an experienced person to help us with: * Bookkeeping for P&L and Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, GST submission * Expense claims * Investigations into wrong postings * Preparing reports for sales revenue, COGS and margin. Examples of Problems with past Bookkeepers * Did not input GST for expense claims so we didn't claim input GST. * Posting an item to a completely wrong line that is clearly wrong using common sense. * Not investigating synch errors or failures between Xero and OrderEZ which results in missing sales revenue or COS entries in the Xero P&L. * Not reconciling the owner's credit card statement and making payments on time. * Lack of understanding of the business process and booking entries wrongly or unable to investigate. Experience and Skills * Strong experience in bookkeeping with an accounting degree * Accounting skills * Good oral and written English communication skills * Attention to detail * Excel skills * Able to use and understand technology without much handholding. We integrate our tech systems together and individuals who cannot use a variety of technology intuitively will not be able to do this job well.
