Overview: We are seeking a skilled SEO Content Strategist to support key SEO initiatives, including keyword research, content topic ideation, SEO content briefs, page optimization recommendations, and competitive analysis. The ideal candidate has a passion for data-driven insights and understands the critical role of SEO in digital marketing. This role also requires strong writing abilities to transform search findings, keyword research, and insights into SEO-supercharged content Key Responsibilities: • Conduct SEO keyword research and develop strategic insights to guide content planning. • Create SEO content briefs and write optimized content that infuses SEO best practices to achieve business outcomes. • Analyze and recommend on-page optimization strategies to improve rankings and visibility. • Perform competitive search analyses to identify opportunities for growth. • Utilize tools like Semrush, Google Analytics, and other dashboards like Looker Studio for data analysis and reporting. • Write SEO-optimized content tailored to client verticals, aligning with voice and audience needs. • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate SEO best practices across digital initiatives and platforms. • Forecast SEO performance to inform strategic decision-making. • Provide additional SEO and content writing support as needed. Qualifications: • Proven experience with SEO research, optimization, and content writing that drives business outcomes. • Demonstrated ability to translate SEO insights into high-quality, optimized content. • Proficient in tools like Semrush, Google Analytics, and Search Console. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill insights into actionable recommendations. • Excellent writing and communication skills for creating impactful content and reports. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. • Ability to receive feedback and direction from Manager of Search and collaborating SEO strategists. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with technical SEO and schema markup. • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS. • Certifications in Google Analytics or similar are a plus. Additional Information: This is a freelance position. Work is conducted remotely with access to required tools and platforms provided as necessary.
