Writers for Magazine Feature Articles and Occasional Blogs
Central Florida Media Group is looking for more writers for our publications and client blogs. The ideal candidates must have the following skills / qualifications: -- Demonstrated writing ability for features and news articles -- Clear communication skills -- Quick response time to internal communications and easily accessible via email and phone -- Ability to work independently and deliver on deadline -- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Google Sheets The ideal candidate will preferably have knowledge / the following skills: -- Knowledge of the Florida agriculture industry -- Knowledge of the Florida medical/healthcare industry -- Knowledge of the Central Florida area -- Ability to research and write about unfamiliar topics -- Experience interviewing subjects Projects would be assigned to the ideal candidate and compensated via a flat rate as agreed upon between CFMG and the writer. Our normal rate is $20 per 350- to 400-word blog and 8 cents/word for articles.
