WordPress Developer Needed for Custom listing site Listings + Search System (No Marketplace Plugins)
Description: I am building a custom membership site on WordPress. I need a developer to help replace my current HivePress setup with a fully custom listing and search system, using WordPress Custom Post Types (CPTs), custom fields, and advanced search filtering — without using HivePress, ListingPro, or any other marketplace plugin. Scope of Work: • Create a Custom Post Type in WordPress. • Add custom fields (location, experience, etc..) • Build a two-step search system: • Step 1: Filter by Location + Experience • Step 2: Refine by Attributes (Covid vaccinated, Night Care, Infant Experience, etc.) • Build frontend profile cards (preview style) showing key data and tags. • Build full profile pages showing all details. • Integrate with existing WooCommerce billing system. (Possibly refine membership) • Prepare future integration with Amelia Booking (but booking logic can be Phase 2 and open to a quote on build to avoid Amelia) • Ensure membership access rules are respected (user and vendor) • Maintain existing design style (warm, trustworthy, professional — not cold corporate). • Responsive (mobile-friendly) layouts required. Eventually convert to app style site. Potential offer to maintain tech specs monthly if needed Requirements: • Strong experience building WordPress Custom Post Types (CPT). • Experience creating custom search/filter systems without relying on third-party plugins. • Ability to follow clear brand and design instructions. • Clean, modular code that future developers can easily manage. • Communicate clearly after every major milestone. Bonus: • Experience with WooCommerce and/or Amelia Booking is a plus. • Understanding of membership sites - willing to start with a half built system. Designed and pages half built.
