We’re looking for a graphic designer to support the 2025 update of a professional resource for educators. This project involves refreshing and reformatting a multi-chapter PDF document originally designed in 2022. The updated version will include revised content, an added chapter, and updates to tools and examples. The final deliverable should be a polished, accessible PDF created in InDesign. Note that meeting all Accessibility requirements as defined by WACG and ADA is critical. Scope of Work: - Use existing InDesign files from the 2022 version as a base - Integrate updated content from Google Docs - Maintain a clean, professional layout that is easy to navigate - Add light design improvements (e.g. callouts, visual markers for tools or prompts) - Ensure the final PDF is accessible per standard best practices (e.g. screen-reader compatible structure, tagged elements) Timeline: - Design work will begin in early or mid-July 2025 - Final deliverables are expected by late August (exact timeline to be confirmed with the team) We’ll Provide: - InDesign source files from the 2022 version - Updated content in Google Docs, with clear markup - Point of contact for regular communication and quick decisions Ideal Qualifications: - Experience designing reports, toolkits, or curriculum materials in InDesign - Familiarity with document accessibility requirements - Ability to interpret and apply feedback from reviewers - Experience designing PDFs for educators or workforce audiences is a plus To Apply: Please share: - A few relevant samples of work (especially if accessibility-focused) - Your preferred rate (hourly or fixed) - Availability in July and August 2025 - Any questions you’d like us to clarify
