Product Designer - Stationery/Home
We are looking for a talented, energetic and creative individual who has a passion for creativity and outside the box thinking. Further, we are seeking a candidate who can have an immediate impact within our stationery division, with a demonstrated ability to be able to create designs. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years experience in graphic design, ideally with experience within stationery or other accessories (hardgoods), supplying to mass and/or specialty retail. Candidate will focus on everyday items such a gift bags, journals including typical back to school items, office/home office items and impulse/novelty. Qualifications - 3-5years experience Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign - Knowledge of typography and other design principles - Strong communication and organizational skills - Great attention to detail Responsibilities - To conceptualize and develop designs for stationery and desk-side accessories within the home department - The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in design to support the design process from conception through production - Create design presentations to facilitate concept and meetings - This is a freelance role - This role has the opportunity to turn into full time
