Description: We are hosting a powerful, culturally-rooted grant writing event aimed at helping community-based and grassroots organizations access funding with confidence. We’re looking for a talented digital marketing freelancer to help us create compelling visual and written assets and run targeted ad campaigns on LinkedIn and Facebook to drive registrations and awareness. Scope of Work: 1. Asset Creation (Branded for Our Event): • 3–5 scroll-stopping social media graphics (sized for FB/LinkedIn) • 1 short promotional video (30–60 seconds) or animated reel (optional but preferred) • Copywriting for social posts and ads (including headline, body, and CTA) • Event banner for use on landing page and email 2. Campaign Setup & Management: • Audience research and targeting (especially nonprofit professionals, grassroots org leaders, grant writers, etc.) • Set up and manage paid ad campaigns on LinkedIn and Facebook • Run ads for 2–3 weeks leading up to the event (dates provided upon hire) • Optimize for registrations or sign-ups via landing page • Provide 1–2 performance reports during the campaign Ideal Candidate: • Experience running Facebook and LinkedIn campaigns for events, education, or nonprofit audiences • Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.) • Proven ability to write culturally relevant, clear ad copy • Familiarity with grassroots or social impact sectors is a plus! Budget: Open to proposals — please include a rough estimate and any package options you offer.
