What is your current level of experience in freelance work?
We’re looking for a high-level PR professional who has proven, first-hand relationships with credible media outlets—not just someone who sends generic pitches into the void. We’re in the middle of a rebrand and want to secure meaningful press coverage in reputable publications (online, print, or broadcast). The ideal candidate already knows who to call or email to get a story placed. You must have: Direct relationships with editors, journalists, producers, or bookers at top-tier or industry-relevant outlets A proven track record of getting real press placements (not just submitting press releases) A creative understanding of how to position a brand or founder for a story Experience working with startups or consumer brands is a big plus What we’re looking for: Someone who can introduce and place stories, not just pitch them Guidance on positioning, angle, and strategy to maximize appeal Results within the first 30–60 days, not theoretical value To apply: List 3–5 outlets where you’ve personally placed stories and what the angle was Describe your current media relationships Share an example of a unique placement you made that required a real connection Please do not apply if your process is limited to sending emails through press databases This is for someone who’s plugged in and trusted by the media, and who can deliver actual visibility, fast.
