We’re looking for a creative and reliable video editor to turn our raw video snippets into engaging, brand-aligned short-form ads and social media videos. Our team shoots video footage during photoshoots for each new clothing collection, and we need someone who can transform those clips into polished, high-performing videos for platforms like YouTube, Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram Reels. This is an ongoing freelance position with consistent work as we release new collections and campaigns. Who We Are: We are Babysprouts Clothing Company, a premium children’s clothing brand known for timeless design, earthy tones, and soft, comfortable fabrics. Our content is visually warm, playful, and minimal—just like our brand. Our buyers are typically young moms who value quality and intentional design. What You’ll Do: • Edit short-form videos (typically 10-30 seconds) using provided footage • Add branded text overlays, music, transitions, and captions where needed • Create multiple versions of each video for different platforms (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Meta Ads, etc.) • Apply best practices for short-form video advertising (attention-grabbing hooks, clear CTAs, mobile-first formats) • Align visuals and messaging with our brand voice and aesthetic • Deliver files optimized for ad platforms and organic use What We Provide: • Raw video clips from photoshoots (usually vertical format) • Brand guidelines (tone, color, typography, messaging) • Example ads and references • Ongoing footage from each seasonal photoshoot Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience creating short-form ads or social video content • Strong portfolio of Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, or similar content • Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar) • Understanding of current trends and platform-specific best practices • Eye for aesthetics and ability to follow brand direction • Reliable communication and fast turnaround times • Bonus: Familiarity with DTC/eCommerce brands or children’s fashion
