Radiant Digital is looking for an experienced social media video strategist to help grow our presence and engagement on social platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and beyond. This is a consulting role, ideal for a creative pro who understands how to grow social audiences, capture attention, drive engagement, and turn scrollers into content consumers through smart, platform-optimized video content. Key Responsibilities: Video-First Content Strategy • Develop and refine cross-platform video strategies with a focus on TikTok, YouTube (including Shorts), Instagram Reels, and emerging channels • Drive engagement through a mix of trend-driven short-form and high-retention long-form content • Establish platform-specific content objectives based on SEO, analytics, and user behavior Content Development & Production Oversight • Ideate and oversee the creation of short-form and long-form video content aligned with brand goals • Provide creative direction and build video briefs and storyboards • Make recommendations for optimizing video scripts, thumbnails, titles, and metadata for maximum discoverability Audience Growth & Engagement • Recommend strategies to grow followers and encourage consistent video consumption • Use platform insights and analytics to inform content direction and timing • Leverage interactive and native features to boost audience engagement and retention Platform Optimization • Tailor strategies to suit each platform’s strengths, trends, and evolving best practices • Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates, content formats, and audience expectations Performance Tracking & Reporting • Monitor and analyze video performance metrics • Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to continuously improve content Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of freelance or consulting experience in social-first video strategy • Strong background in video-first content strategy for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc. • Demonstrated success growing and engaging audiences through video content • Excellent understanding of platform-specific trends, formats, and storytelling techniques • Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling and content ideation skills • Ability to analyze metrics and translate them into clear, actionable strategies • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
