Location: Remote Type: Contract / Freelance (potential for ongoing work) Start Date: ASAP (Target launch: August 1) Compensation: $1,000/month Join the Movement to End Poverty We’re launching a powerful new podcast—Essential Leadership to End Poverty—a bold audio platform under The Poverty Solution. This podcast will spotlight nonprofit leaders, government officials, social entrepreneurs, and community advocates who are leading transformational change in the fight against poverty. We’re looking for an experienced Podcast Promoter to lead the charge in launching and scaling this mission-driven show to 1 million listeners in the next 18 months. What You’ll Do: — Develop and execute a strategic launch plan to ensure strong traction from day one (August 1). — Promote across social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)—and advise on other high-impact channels. — Implement and manage growth strategies to expand reach: audience targeting, partnerships, influencer outreach, PR, podcast networks, etc. — Track analytics and optimize campaigns for listener acquisition and engagement. — Help us build a loyal community of listeners who are aligned with our mission to end poverty. What We’re Looking For: — Proven success in promoting and scaling podcasts to 100,000+ listeners — Deep understanding of podcast marketing, growth tactics, and platform algorithms. — Experience with social media marketing, audience development, and community building. — Mission-aligned mindset: you believe in the power of leadership to create lasting change. — Strong communication, initiative, and a proactive, self-directed work ethic.
