We’re Southernite Interiors, a growing interior design firm in Georgia with a custom furniture and home decor storefront. We’re planning to launch our Shopify e-commerce store and need expert help getting the shipping and logistics side right from the start. We’re seeking an experienced e-commerce logistics consultant to help us set up shipping workflows for both small parcels (pillows, decor, accessories) and large freight items (custom sofas and case goods). What We Need Help With: •Advising on the best shipping software (e.g. ShipStation) and configuring rules for USPS, UPS, FedEx. •Setting up flat-rate vs real-time rates and strategies to reduce cost. •Freight coordination: For example, how to get a sofa made in North Carolina to a customer in another state. •Leveraging our Georgia receiving warehouse with a loading dock. •Recommending or integrating with LTL or white glove delivery partners. •Ideally integrating this cleanly into our Shopify store setup (in progress). Bonus Points If You’ve: Helped a designer, furniture brand, or boutique e-comm store scale their shipping workflow. Have relationships with national white glove services or freight networks. Understand packaging or SOPs for receiving + outbound fulfillment.
