Senior Analytics Pro Needed for 6-month Contract with Praytell, a Brand Comms Agency

Location: Remote Duration: 5 months (June - October 2025) Commitment: Full-time Reports To: EVP of Strategy We are seeking a seasoned contractor to step into a senior level Analytics & Insights role. This individual will bring strategic rigor and technical expertise to our data-driven initiatives, with a focus on organic social media performance, public relations, and earned media. The ideal candidate combines PR & Social Media insight-writing experience, storytelling, and analytics capabilities, particularly with Tableau and media measurement tools. Key Responsibilities - Data Visualization & Reporting - Deliver client-facing monthly, weekly, and ad hoc reporting decks with actionable insights. - Build and manage advanced Tableau dashboards (based on existing designs and templates) to monitor performance. - Present insights clearly to senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams. Social Insights - Analyze organic social performance using tools like Sprinklr, Meltwater, Hootsuite, Emplifi, Sprout Social, etc. - Report performance over time and develop insights for clients. PR Insights - Analyze earned media performance using tools like Meltwater, Muck Rack, or similar. - Identify key coverage drivers and message resonance using sentiment analysis and coverage volumes. - Stakeholder Engagement - Act as a thought partner to client leads, helping interpret insights and drive refinements. - Collaborate with client teams to align metrics and outcomes. Data Management & Tool Integration - Work with analytics vendors to ensure data quality and system integration. - Maintain dashboards and refine data pipelines for evolving business needs. Required Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in analytics, insights, or business intelligence; at least 2 years at a senior or leadership level - At least 2 years Tableau experience for data visualization and dashboard creation. - Experience with Python for data manipulation - Deep understanding of organic social media measurement, including top and bottom post performance analysis, opportunities for trendjacking, and other methods to boost performance - Deep understanding of PR and communications measurement, including media analysis, share of voice, sentiment, and message pull-through - Experience in tools such as Meltwater, Muckrack, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or similar - Demonstrated ability to distill complex data into strategic recommendations - Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders Preferred Qualifications - Experience in agency or communications consulting environments. - Knowledge of SQL and R. - Familiarity with integrated marketing measurement frameworks (e.g., MMM). - Global or cross-market reporting experience. Contract Details - Competitive compensation based on experience. - Flexible schedule with availability for key meetings and presentations. - Aiming to kickoff the engagement in June. - Option to extend or transition to full-time based on performance and business needs.
