Thumbnail Designer for YouTube Channel on Mysterious and Untold Stories in Sports
We are seeking a highly skilled Thumbnail Designer to create attention-grabbing and visually powerful thumbnails for our YouTube channel focused on "Untold and forgotten sides of Sports" with a true crime documentary twist. Your main responsibilities will be: - Design compelling, unique, and brand-consistent YouTube thumbnails that maximize click-through rate (CTR) - Deliver 2 thumbnails per week, always on time - Research each video’s topic and narrative to craft a visual story that instantly hooks viewers - Combine text, images, and effects in a bold, clear, and uncluttered style - Ensure each thumbnail stands out on both desktop and mobile feeds - Maintain consistency with the channel’s visual identity and mood - Revise thumbnails based on feedback (quick turnaround required) Technical Requirements: - Proven experience designing high-CTR YouTube thumbnails (please provide samples/portfolio) - Advanced skills with Photoshop or Photopea (mandatory); bonus: Figma, Canva, or similar tools - Ability to source and edit images (stock images, AI tools, compositing as needed) - Knowledge of current YouTube thumbnail trends and what works for faceless/documentary/true crime/sports channels - Strong sense of color, contrast, and visual storytelling - Ability to deliver PSD or layered files if requested Reference Channels – match or exceed these styles: https://www.youtube.com/@meld-tv/videos https://www.youtube.com/@AtriumExplores/videos https://www.youtube.com/@Zoufryymedia/videos Compensation: $10 per thumbnail, paid per delivery.
