We create custom media guides, gameday programs, and other projects that help athletic teams and student groups tell their story — while driving much-needed revenue. Join us as we grow our impact across the country! Position Overview: Play1 Media is seeking a motivated and creative Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. In this role, you will host live Zoom demos, showcase our commemorative content program, and upsell additional services like sponsor sales support and revenue-generating projects (e.g., media guides, gameday programs). Your mission is to build relationships with schools and help solve their funding challenges while setting them up for success. Key Responsibilities: Host Demo Calls: Conduct scheduled Zoom calls with schools, delivering engaging live presentations about Play1 Media’s services. Upsell Services: Introduce additional offerings like local sponsor sales, media guides, and gameday programs during your demos. Follow-Up: Send personalized follow-up messages after each demo, addressing funding needs, answering questions, and encouraging next steps. Schedule Management: Review your daily calendar, prepare for upcoming demos, and track progress through follow-up notes. Collaborate: Provide feedback to the team to help improve the demo process and outreach strategies. Required Skills: Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) Comfortable hosting meetings on Zoom Strong live presentation skills Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell and cross-sell Creative problem solver able to tailor solutions to funding needs Friendly and personable communication style Preferred Experience: Previous experience in sales OR sports information Bonus points if you have experience working with schools, athletic departments, or community groups Compensation: Hourly Rate: $20 to $30 per hour, based on experience Commission: Earn commissions based on performance Bonus Opportunities: Performance-based bonuses available How to Apply: Submit your resume Record a short video call (2-3 minutes) introducing yourself and sharing why you're excited about joining Play1 Media.
