Litigation Paralegal
Location: Remote (Must be available between 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST, ideally 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) We are a highly organized and well-established plaintiff’s personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to supplement our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and can operate with minimal supervision. The Ideal Candidate: Extensive Litigation Experience: You have a strong background as a litigation paralegal, particularly in the personal injury field. Discovery Management: You can independently manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting discovery requests, preparing responses with appropriate objections, and organizing exhibits. Demand Drafting: You are proficient in preparing thorough and persuasive demand packages for settlement negotiations. Legal Drafting Skills: While not responsible for legal analysis, you can produce high-quality pleadings, correspondence, and pre-trial documents including Complaints. Case Management Experience: Prior experience as a case manager is strongly preferred. Medical Knowledge: You have a working knowledge of medical terminology, records, and treatment protocols relevant to personal injury cases. Independent and Reliable: You can manage your own caseload segments, communicate effectively with attorneys, and meet deadlines without handholding. Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable using modern legal tech tools, preferably including case management systems, cloud storage, and PDF tools. Schedule & Location: Remote Position Must be available at least from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time, with preference for full EST business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
