Apparel Product Developer for Performance Athletic/Golf Socks
We’re building a high-performance golf sock brand at the intersection of technical innovation and subtle luxury. Designed for serious players who value fit, feel, and function, our socks will blend cutting-edge textile engineering with refined aesthetic sensibilities. We're not here to churn out basics — we’re here to elevate a category that’s long been overlooked. As we prepare to go to market, we’re looking for a Product Developer with experience in technical sock design to help us bring our product to life — from concept and materials to sampling and production readiness. You will help with (but not limited to) the following: Collaborate closely with the founder and brand strategist to translate performance, fit, and aesthetic goals into physical prototypes. Select and source materials (e.g. performance yarns, merino, synthetics) that balance comfort, durability, and moisture-wicking functionality. Develop detailed tech packs and product specifications, suitable for use with domestic or overseas manufacturers. Advise on sock construction techniques: compression zones, arch support, seamless toe, reinforced heel, etc. Oversee sampling and prototype refinement in partnership with mills or manufacturers. Test and iterate based on fit, performance, and feedback from product testers. Assist in establishing the product development timeline and production roadmap.
