Title: UX/UI Designer & WordPress Developer for Consulting Website Redesign Description: We’re looking for a skilled UX/UI Designer with WordPress development experience to redesign and build a new corporate website for Howbridge, a consulting and venture-building firm: https://meethowbridge.com This site will serve as both a corporate brand presence and a portfolio platform showcasing Howbridge’s work, approach, and team. You’ll be collaborating closely with our in-house creative team, including art directors and content strategists, and will have access to existing brand assets, guidelines, and core messaging to guide design decisions. Scope of Work: Translate brand strategy and messaging into a compelling digital experience Develop wireframes, page layouts, and visual design mockups Create a modern, clean, and conversion-friendly design that communicates our value to mid-market and enterprise clients Build the website in WordPress CMS (using either a custom theme or flexible builder like Elementor or WP Bakery) Optimize for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness Incorporate SEO best practices Create reusable components/blocks for scalability Support testing and deployment Deliverables: Sitemap and wireframes High-fidelity design mockups for desktop and mobile Fully functional WordPress website Style guide or documentation for future updates QA & bug fixes during final testing Ideal Candidate: Proven experience designing and building corporate websites (especially B2B or consulting firms) Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI and WordPress development Ability to work within an existing brand system while elevating it Excellent communication skills and responsiveness Comfortable collaborating with a distributed creative team Bonus Points: Experience with animation/micro-interactions Understanding of content strategy and how UX supports storytelling Experience with performance optimization tools and plugins Timeline: Project kickoff in late March / early April Initial concept in 2–3 weeks, full site delivered in 6–8 weeks To Apply: Please include: A link to your portfolio (especially relevant B2B/consulting sites) Your experience working with WordPress CMS A short note on your design + dev process Your availability and estimated project rate
