Health & Wellness Podcast Content & Marketing Manager
Melanie Avalon, host of three podcasts (The Melanie Avalon Biohacking Podcast, The Intermittent Fasting Podcast, and The Mind Blown Podcast), is looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and tech-savvy Podcast Content Manager to oversee podcast production management and social media promotion across multiple platforms. An interest in health, wellness, and biohacking is a major plus, as Melanie's shows explore cutting-edge science, longevity, and optimizing mind and body, with the world's top doctors, authors, and researchers. (Past guests include Wim Hof, Dave Asprey, Gabor Maté , David Sinclair, Dr. Valter Longo, Dr. Steven Gundry, Max Lugavere, Dr. Jason Fung, etc.) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Podcast Upload & Scheduling: • Upload and schedule episodes via the podcast hosting platforms RedCircle and Megaphone • Write show notes with sponsor links, guest bios, and relevant resources • Use AI transcription software to process audio for show notes Dynamic Ad Management: • Manage ad insertion points and maintain a dynamic ad catalog on the podcast hosting platforms • Assist with podcast platform migrations as needed Website, Email Campaigns & Social Media Updates: • Update website pages weekly with new episode artwork and links • Design custom episode graphics and Instagram content • Create weekly episode email campaigns • Maintain and consolidate the master email lists • Post Instagram and Facebook promotions and select standout quotes for social content • Once a year, curate “Best of” episodes by identifying and timestamping notable moments IDEAL CANDIDATE • Experience in podcast uploading and scheduling, show notes creation, and digital marketing • Proficiency in podcast hosting platforms (RedCircle & Megaphone), audio editing tools, and email marketing platforms • Strong writing skills for crafting engaging show notes and promotional content • Excellent attention to detail • Experience using Canva, for creating episode artwork • Understanding of SEO and social media best practices to optimize podcast visibility • Bonus: Interest in biohacking, health, and wellness
