Experienced Graphic Designer Needed for Event Journal Book Redesign
We are seeking a highly skilled graphic designer to redesign and assemble our annual event's journal book. This booklet is critical to the success of our Empower716 Young Entrepreneurs of Color Awards gala. Like last year's edition, the journal will feature: Bios and pictures of 12 honorees. Information and images of the guest speaker, entertainment, and host. 20-25 advertisement pages from sponsors (half are already created and need minor edits like date changes). Project Requirements: The finished product will mirror the design, color scheme, and theme of last year’s 75-page journal, but should be condensed to about 60-65 pages. Final dimensions of the printed book will be 6x9 inches, with all formatted pages not to exceed 5x8 inches, maintaining margins on all sides. Deliverable must be in PDF format. Your Responsibilities: You will not be required to create new content. All logos, pictures, and content will be provided. You will need to efficiently format and design the booklet, ensuring it meets the specified dimensions and aesthetic guidelines. Qualifications: Strong portfolio showcasing skills in graphic design and page layout. Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Ability to work under tight deadlines, with a turnaround time of 3 days to meet our printing schedule. Experience with similar editorial projects is highly preferred.
