API Integration Developer for Healthcare Marketplace (SuiteDash + ePA Tool)

We’re ELJMG, a healthcare-focused management group building a SaaS-based marketplace that connects physicians and pharmacies. We need an experienced API developer to integrate our current platform (SuiteDash) with a third-party electronic prior authorization (ePA) This is a contract-based project with potential for ongoing work. ⸻ Project Scope: • Build API integration between SuiteDash (triggered by a physician submission) and the ePA engine • Authenticate securely (API key or OAuth2) • Send structured data (e.g. patient, drug, insurance) from SuiteDash to the ePA API • Handle API responses (success, rejection, error) • Optionally, implement webhooks to track approval status in real-time • Maintain HIPAA-conscious data handling (you’ll work within our secure environment) ⸻ Required Skills: • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks • Comfortable with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, API tokens) • Proven work in API integrations, especially in healthcare or regulated industries • Familiarity with ePA tools and pharmacy/PBM systems (a plus) • Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, or API testing tools • Strong communication and documentation ⸻ Bonus Points If You Have: • Experience with HIPAA-compliant workflows • Low-code experience (Zapier, Make.com, etc.) • Knowledge of infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or prior authorization workflows ⸻ Deliverables: • API Integration script (Node.js, Python, or low-code logic) • Testing and QA support • Documentation for how the integration works • Optionally: webhook-based callback system for status updates ⸻ Budget: Open to hourly or fixed-price proposals.
