I'm looking for an experienced React Native developer to build a mobile app that allows users to discover local events using a Tinder-style swiping mechanism and an interactive map. The app will fetch real-time event data from an API (Eventbrite or similar) and display events in two views: a swipeable card deck and a map with event markers. Project Scope: Tech Stack: React Native, Expo (if applicable), React Native Maps, React Native Deck Swiper Core Features: Swipeable Cards View: Users can swipe left or right on event cards (like/dislike feature). Map View: Events displayed as markers on a map, switchable via a toggle button. Event Data Fetching: Integration with an event API (e.g., Eventbrite) to pull real-time event details. Responsive UI: Ensure the app adapts to different screen sizes. Performance Optimization: Efficient rendering of events and smooth animations. Requirements: Proven experience in React Native app development. Familiarity with APIs, data fetching, and handling real-time updates. Knowledge of map integrations and interactive UI components.
