Magazine Content Editor
Looking for a magazine content editor who is flexible, knowledgable about APA formatting, efficient, has knowledge about editing InDesign files/live files, and is communicative. Tasks usually take between 10-15 hours and have tentatively set dates. To share a few details of what tasks look like, you will be asked to cross-check page numbers, table of contents, descriptions, matching pricing, and articles (about 6 per magazine that range between 1,200-1,500 words). We publish about four-five magazines currently a year. You will be responsible for editing during our content week which takes place in a google doc, and then again for cover to cover editing in a live file about a week before it is sent to printers. There are also misc. ad projects, one consistent one is our Sales Flier that goes out on the 10th of every month. They range from 1 page ads to 12 page ads. One magazine has about 74 pages and the other is about 136 to 156 pages. Looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
