SEO/GEO Specialist Needed for Audit & Strategy
We are a Southern California–based digital marketing consultancy looking for an experienced SEO/GEO Specialist to perform a comprehensive audit and develop a strategy to improve website visibility on both traditional search engines and emerging generative search experiences (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot). Key Responsibilities: ✅ Conduct a full SEO audit (technical, on-page, off-page) ✅ Evaluate content and structure for readiness in generative search experiences ✅ Identify optimization opportunities for both standard SERPs and AI-powered search results ✅ Develop a clear, prioritized action plan to improve organic visibility ✅ Recommend strategies for entity optimization, structured data, and authoritative content ✅ Present findings and recommendations in a clear, actionable format Requirements: -- Proven experience in SEO with a growing understanding of Generative Engine Optimization -- Familiarity with Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE) and similar technologies -- Ability to assess and optimize for E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) -- Ability to conduct competitor and keyword research -- Strong analytical and communication skills -- Comfort working within WordPress and using SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) Nice to Have: -- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for SEO-related site improvements If you're excited about the future of search and have the skills to help websites show up in both traditional and AI-powered results, we’d love to hear from you!
