NOT LOOKING FOR AN AGENCY. Looking for an independent contractor. You’ll start by supporting 2 clients, with potential to grow as we scale. You’ll handle technical audits, keyword research, content planning, and provide implementation guidance to ensure strong search performance and growth. What You’ll Do: Quarterly Technical SEO Audits - Run thorough audits and provide clear, actionable recommendations—either implementing them yourself or depending on the tasks- outlining tasks for the developer to implement. For onsite and off-site SEO Keyword Research - Perform in-depth research to identify high-impact keywords tailored to each client’s industry and geographic market. Content Strategy - Based on audit and keyword insights, develop a quarterly content plan for 2 optimized pages per month per client, including: Target keywords and location Content topics and outlines Suggested URLs and internal linking ideas GBP Posts - write 5-10 GBP posts per month Implementation & Support - Be available for ad hoc client questions or SEO requests/questions as needed. What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience in SEO strategy, audits, and content planning - Strong technical understanding and ability to break things down for non-technical stakeholders - Proficiency with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console Organized, responsive, and able to work independently - Comfortable managing multiple priorities across clients
