Creative Researcher for Movie/TV Clips to Match Deep Conceptual Themes
I’m creating a series of short, high-impact videos (mostly under 60 seconds) for Instagram and TikTok that explore meaningful, often spiritual or philosophical ideas—many rooted in Jewish wisdom and universal truths. I’m looking for a creative, culturally literate video researcher who can: • Understand a nuanced concept (e.g., freedom through discipline, the illusion of control, self-transcendence, communal responsibility vs. individualism, etc.) • Search for and identify short movie or TV clips (ideally under 30 seconds) that either illustrate or challenge these themes • Provide timestamped clips or clear scene references (title, context, timestamp, and emotional tone) • Recommend clips from mainstream, indie, international, or even animated films—whatever fits the concept best • Bonus: Experience editing or formatting clips for Instagram Reels and TikTok (adding captions, cropping, etc.) Ideal Candidate: • Deep film knowledge (Hollywood, world cinema, and/or television) • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to interpret abstract themes • Experience with video editing tools (like CapCut, Premiere Pro, Runway, etc.) is a plus • Ability to deliver polished, well-organized results on a deadline This is a part-time, ongoing project, with flexible hours and creative freedom.
