Part-Time Medical Biller (15-20 Hours/Week) About United Benefits Partners: United Benefits Partners is a trusted provider of employee benefits solutions, specializing in group health insurance and compliance support. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to assist with claims processing and insurance carrier communications. Key Responsibilities: Accurately prepare and submit medical claims to insurance carriers. Review and resolve denied or rejected claims, ensuring proper resubmission. Verify insurance coverage and coordinate benefits as needed. Follow up on outstanding claims and payments with insurance carriers and clients. Post payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate billing records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry billing standards. Collaborate with the team to improve billing processes and efficiency. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 2+ years in medical billing and working with insurance carriers. Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Certification in Medical Billing & Coding preferred). Software Skills: Experience with billing and insurance processing software (e.g., Ease, BenefitMall, or similar platforms). Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding. Ability to communicate effectively with insurance carriers and clients. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently within a part-time schedule.
