Responsibilities: QuickBooks Setup & Optimization – Ensure all accounts, categories, and integrations are properly configured. Startup Expense Entry & Categorization – Enter and organize all startup costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Contractor & Vendor Setup – Ensure all independent contractors, suppliers, and vendors are properly recorded. Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation – Reconcile transactions and ensure accurate monthly financial statements. Basic Chart of Accounts Management – Organize income & expense categories for clear financial tracking. Monthly Bookkeeping & Reconciliation – Provide ongoing support to keep financials up to date. Financial Reports & Insights – Generate key reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to ensure financial health. Requirements: Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Experience setting up QuickBooks for startups, CPG brands, or e-commerce businesses Strong understanding of startup accounting, expense tracking, and reconciliation Experience working with independent contractors & vendor payments Attention to detail & ability to organize financial data efficiently Excellent communication skills & ability to work independently Preferred Skills: Background in CPG, e-commerce, or food & beverage industries. Experience with inventory tracking & cost of goods sold (COGS) setup. Ability to provide basic financial guidance on cash flow management.
