Billing Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time Billing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoicing, reporting, conducting audits and maintaining workflow. Billing Clerk may also be asked to conduct customer facing communication and followup. Responsibilities: Generate invoices: Prepare invoices and update client account templates. Data entry: Perform data entry tasks related to invoices and billing. Monitor accounts: Help to keep track of customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Research discrepancies: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies. Quality Control- audit sold to billed, investigate with Product Owners and Client Experience team to ensure what’s been sold has been properly billed for Prepare statements: Generate and submit customer statements. Month-end closing: Assist with month-end closing activities. Maintain records: Help to keep billing files and records updated. Qualifications: Proven experience: Previous experience as a billing clerk or in a similar role is preferred. Technical skills: Proficiency in GoogleSuite, especially Google Sheets; Microsoft Office/365, especially Excel; proficiency with QuickBooks Online required. Experience with ClickUp preferred. Attention to detail: Ability to work with numerical data accurately, including audit capability. Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in a team environment. Ability to work independently, set goals, and thrive in a remote office environment. Requirements: Must be available during east coast business hours (9am-5pm) at least 3 days during the week.
