3D CAD Designer Needed to Model Existing Amazon Product for Manufacturing Quote & Iteration
I'm looking for a skilled 3D CAD designer to model an existing product — specifically, a compact electrical blender — and convert it into design files that I can send to my manufacturer for mold and production cost estimates. The project will be completed in two phases: Phase 1: Accurately model the existing product in CAD, based on a reference product I will provide from Amazon. Deliver production-ready design files suitable for manufacturer review and mold quoting. Phase 2 (if we move forward): Collaborate with me to iterate on the design, incorporating my ideas and improvements. Be available for timely revisions based on manufacturer feedback and prototyping needs. Requirements: Proven experience designing for manufacturing (injection molding, stainless steel, or electrical products) Ability to produce or assist in creating prototypes if we move to that stage. Strong understanding of mechanical tolerances and materials used in molded/electrical components. Reliable and timely communication with a focus on meeting deadlines.
