3D Model Designer for Waterproof Electronics Enclosure (Bambu X1C, PETG, IP67)
I’m looking for a skilled 3D model designer to create a waterproof electronics enclosure designed for 3D printing on a Bambu Lab X1C using PETG material. The enclosure will house a circuit board, micro-pump, and a moisture sensor, with IP67 waterproofing considerations. The final design should include: - The enclosure must be able to accommodate a microcontroller and other electronics with dimensions less than 100mm x 100mm - A snap-in cover with a channel for a rubber gasket to ensure waterproofing. - Internal mounting pads for a circuit board and clips to secure a micro-pump & moisture sensor. - Port openings for: 1. Moisture sensor slot 2. Two pump connections 3. USB-C port - Designed specifically for PETG material to ensure durability in outdoor environments. The enclosure will need to withstand high humidity and wet environments - Other electronics that interface with the microcontroller. I will share exact component dimensions and work closely with you to refine the design. Ideal skills and experience for this job: - Proficiency in 3D modeling software - Experience designing for 3D printing - Knowledge of IP67 waterproofing standards - Understanding of materials suitable for high humidity environments - Experience designing electronics enclosures
