Sports Analytics Web App Developer (Frontend + Backend)
Job Description: We are building a sports analytics platform called 'Quick Start Bets' to provide supporting statistics for quick-settling sports bets like: NBA: First Basket Scorer MLB: No Run First Inning (NRFI) NHL: Goal in First Ten (GIFT) NFL: First Drive Result The platform will display dynamic, real-time stats (team and player-level) for various bet types. We need a full-stack web developer who can help us consolidate, process, and display sports data in a user-friendly way. Responsibilities: Backend Development: Set up a database for sports data (team logs, player game logs, play-by-play, etc.), automate data processing, and integrate APIs if needed (some of the data has already been gathered). Frontend Development: Build a clean, easy-to-navigate website using modern frontend frameworks, display dynamic stats, and create visualizations or dashboards. Data Integration: Work with raw sports data to create meaningful statistics and insights for specific bet types. Ideal Candidate: Experience with sports data, data analysis, and sports betting statistics (Optional but a plus) Proficiency in Python, SQL, web scraping, and API integrations Experience with React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks Comfortable working with databases to store and structure large datasets Potential for Ongoing Work: There is potential for long-term collaboration as the platform expands to include more sports (NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL) and additional features.
