SAP/HANA Specialist – Private Instance Setup for Archival Access
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP/HANA consultant to assist in migrating an existing hosted SAP environment to a privately hosted instance. The purpose of this setup is for long-term archival and reference access, as the business is transitioning to a new ERP platform but will continue needing access to historical SAP data for compliance and operational reference. Project Scope: Architect and deploy a private SAP/HANA environment (cloud or on-premises, to be discussed) Migrate the existing hosted SAP system to the new environment with data integrity and access preserved Ensure the new environment is stable, secure, and optimized for read-only/archive-style access Provide documentation and basic guidance for internal IT/admins for long-term management and access Requirements: Proven experience with SAP and HANA deployments and migrations Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and best practices for archival use Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with a technical and non-technical team Security-conscious mindset to ensure proper access control and data integrity Preferred Qualifications: Experience with similar archival or ERP transition projects Familiarity with hybrid or private cloud environments (AWS, Azure, on-prem virtualization, etc.) US-based Timeline: Project kickoff ASAP. Timeline is flexible but looking to complete within 4–6 weeks.
