Senior ServiceNow Architect (SPM + Custom Workflows) - REMOTE position within the US
We’re seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Architect to support a strategic planning and performance management system built on the ServiceNow platform. The system is in active use and needs both enhancements and ongoing support. 100% remote role. Flexible schedule but generally should be available during East Coast hours. US citizenship or permanent residency required. Key Responsibilities - Develop, enhance, and maintain custom applications built on ServiceNow’s Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module - Lead efforts to update risk management, performance tracking, and KPI workflows within ServiceNow - Support upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the application aligns with internal security and accessibility requirements - Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver sprint-based releases with documentation and user acceptance testing - Collaborate with product owners, testers, and security teams to validate functionality and compliance - Help advise on potential data exchanges between ServiceNow and other systems Ideal Candidate - 8+ years in ServiceNow development - Strong understanding of SPM, custom workflows, client/server scripts, and ServiceNow APIs - Skilled in JavaScript, and familiar with Python for batch automation or data transformation scripts - Experience in Agile development environments and with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar - Able to write clean technical documentation and deliver working code in accordance with coding standards - ITIL Certification highly preferred - ServiceNow Certifications (Admin, Developer, Implementation Specialist) highly preferred
