QuickBooks Online (QBO) Expert Needed to Design Integration Roadmap from SaaS Platform
Description: We are seeking a highly skilled QuickBooks Online (QBO) expert to help us create a clear integration strategy between our software platform (Buzops) and QBO. Buzops is a SaaS platform that manages memberships, personal training services, and point-of-sale transactions for gyms and studios. We are NOT syncing bank data or handling net deposits—we only want to push gross transaction amounts (gross revenue) into QBO for reporting and bookkeeping purposes. Scope of Work: We need you to: Assess how data from Buzops (gross revenue, product/service breakdowns, customer names) should be structured in QBO Recommend best practices for syncing gross transactions (daily, weekly, or real-time) into QBO Advise on chart of accounts structure and whether to use general ledger accounts, product/service mappings, or custom tags/classes Outline whether the integration should create invoices, sales receipts, or journal entries in QBO Account for varied business setups (e.g., businesses with locations, different revenue streams, or custom QBO setups) Help build a scalable framework for different types of business owners to adopt without needing to heavily customize every integration You Are: A certified or highly experienced QBO expert Familiar with SaaS data integrations and syncing gross revenue into QBO Experienced with working on projects involving external POS or membership platforms Comfortable collaborating with a software development team and mapping out API data flows Able to provide documentation or recorded walkthroughs to help us execute and build correctly This Project Will Lead To: A documented integration guide and architecture for our team to build the sync Ongoing consulting opportunities as we scale the integration across customer types If you’ve worked on similar integrations (e.g., MindBody, Stripe, Square, etc. to QBO), we’d love to hear from you.
