Blueprint Creation for Garage Conversion to ADU
I’m looking for an experienced and reliable freelance architect or designer to create permit-ready blueprints for converting my existing 2-car garage into an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) in Southern California. This will be a full ADU conversion with a bathroom, kitchenette, living area and a bedroom. Key Deliverables: • Site-specific architectural plans (floor plan, elevations, sections) • Structural plans and calculations • Electrical and plumbing layouts • Title 24 energy compliance documentation • Any drawings required for permit submission to the city Project Scope: • Approx. 355-400 sq ft garage • Conversion to include full bathroom, kitchenette, living area and separate bedroom • Plans must be compliant with all city ADU regulations and California Building Code Ideal Candidate: • Experience with garage-to-ADU conversions in Southern California • Familiarity with city permit processes • Licensed architect or designer (preferred, but not required if you have strong experience) • Able to deliver high-quality digital files ready for submission to the city To Apply: Please send: • Your portfolio or sample ADU projects • Timeline and cost estimate • Your experience working with local city requirements or similar projects Let me know if you need photos or measurements of the existing garage—I can provide those upon request.
