About the Role: We’re seeking a highly organized, experienced fractional accountant to provide ongoing guidance and support to our founder and in-house bookkeeper. This role requires someone with a solid background in e-commerce and real estate accounting, who can help create and implement a financial game plan for new ventures, while also diving into the books of legacy companies to help reconcile and clean up balance sheets. What You’ll Do: Advise on accounting best practices for e-commerce and real estate entities Collaborate with our bookkeeper to review, clean up, and reconcile financials Help build a financial roadmap for new companies and entities File annual reports with state agencies (experience with multiple states a plus) Assist in setting up and managing sales tax accounts and filings Provide high-level financial insights and organization for long-term planning What We’re Looking For: US-based, with availability during standard business hours (flexible) 3+ years experience in accounting for e-commerce and/or real estate businesses Comfortable working in QuickBooks Online (and other standard accounting tools) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear communicator who can take initiative and work independently Experience with compliance tasks (state filings, sales tax, etc.) Compensation: $30–$60/hour depending on experience and expertise.
