Bookkeeper with Quickbooks experience
We’re looking for a QuickBooks expert to help us build a clean, efficient, and easy-to-follow bookkeeping system for our intermodal trucking company. While we currently track invoices and payments through our TMS (Transportation Management System), we want everything to be accurately mirrored and maintained in QuickBooks. This includes coding daily transactions, tracking invoices, paying vendors and 1099s, and organizing everything so it's CPA-ready. The goal is to build a reliable accounting workflow within QuickBooks that is simple to maintain internally. In addition to setting up the system, this person will be responsible for creating a clear onboarding SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) so that our office admin can fully take over within 30 days. The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks Online, is detail-oriented, and can document processes in a way that’s easy for a non-accountant to follow. This is a short-term, remote contract with flexible hours and potential for ongoing support if needed.
