WebFOCUS Consultant to support a data migration project
To be considered you must specify if you have WebFOCUS experience, and share some details on it. We are seeking a skilled WebFOCUS Consultant to support a data migration project by documenting and extracting approximately 50 existing reports. This role is focused on analysis and documentation only – no development in Power BI is required. A separate Power BI developer will be responsible for rebuilding the reports after extraction. Responsibilities + Review and analyze existing WebFOCUS reports (~50 total) + Document report logic, data sources, filters, parameters, and output structure + Extract report definitions and necessary metadata + Work with internal stakeholders to clarify report usage and requirements + Deliver clear documentation to enable rebuilding of reports in Power BI Required Skills + Strong hands-on experience with WebFOCUS + Ability to read and interpret report logic, joins, and data flows + Experience with documenting technical processes and report logic + Attention to detail and ability to work independently + Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders and developers Preferred Qualifications + Prior experience in report migration or modernization projects + Familiarity with Power BI environments (for context only, not development) Type of Consultant Desired: Experienced WebFOCUS consultant (5+ years preferred) with a strong background in analyzing, documenting, and extracting report logic. Must have proven ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience supporting report migrations is a plus.
