Engineered drawing for load bearing walls
I have a 1400 sq ft 1930's cape in 32'x20' I want to replace the load carrying walls on first floor with LVL's. I', looking for an engineer in Florida to draw a plan/drawing so I can get a building permit. I live in Florida. I attached a drawing that is not to scale. I want to put LVL in yellow highlighted lines. I'm assuming other walls are not load-bearing and we'll remove those as well. The goal is to have an open space, leaving stairs in place.
