What is your current level of experience in freelance work?
We’re looking for a seasoned User Experience Designer to help us improve the clarity and cohesion of one of the most critical flows in our platform. Right now, this part of our product feels disjointed and confusing to users. We need your expertise to identify friction points, streamline the flow, and visually communicate how these features work together in a way that feels natural and easy to follow. What You’ll Do: • Audit and map the current user journey for the core component of our software. • Identify UX friction points and areas of confusion • Propose wireframes or flow diagrams that clearly demonstrate a unified experience • Collaborate with product leadership to ensure alignment with our communication philosophy and member-first approach • Suggest UX adjustments that would improve usability and comprehension Ideal Experience: • 3–5+ years of experience in UX/UI design (preferably SaaS or communication tools) • Strong portfolio of user flow mapping and simplification • Comfortable working within existing design systems but not afraid to propose new ideas • Bonus: experience with church or nonprofit software Deliverables: • A UX journey map showing current vs. proposed flows • Wireframes and/or visual diagrams to explain your recommendations • Recommendations for copy/labels that support clarity • Optional: clickable prototype (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
