We are seeking an experienced controller bookkeeper to manage the financial operations of our new business. This individual will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our QuickBooks system from scratch and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Key Responsibilities • QuickBooks Setup: Establish and configure QuickBooks to fit the specific needs of our business. • Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to track the company's financial performance. • ACH Billing: Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) billing for client payments. • Bill Pay: Oversee the payment of bills to ensure timely and accurate disbursements. • Payroll Setup: Set up payroll systems through Intuit, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time. Qualifications • Proven experience as a controller bookkeeper or similar role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Intuit payroll systems. • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
