JavaScript Developer for Latitude-Longitude to X-Y Conversion
We are seeking a skilled JavaScript developer to create a well-documented function that converts latitude and longitude coordinates into an x-y position within a specified window. The window is defined by its lower left and upper right corners in latitude and longitude., and in pixel dimensions by mapWidth and mapHeight variables. The candidate should have experience working with geospatial data, an understanding of coordinate systems, and for future work would preferably have experience with packages such as OpenLayers and maybe even familiarity with OGC standards as well.
